Banpu Public Company Limited announced the appointment of “Mr. Sinon Vongkusolkit” as the Chief Executive Officer of Banpu NEXT, a flagship business of Banpu PCL. The appointment will sure to move forward the company’s commitment to deliver the Smarter Energy for Sustainability. The company will also speed up the expansion of clean energy and energy technology business to boost the competitiveness and to create an inter-connected ecosystem that responds to smart energy trends.
Before taking the helm as the CEO at Banpu NEXT, Mr. Sinon has had tremendous experiences in various strategic management and operations at Banpu PCL. which also include corporate finance, investment, and project management. He was at the forefront in major strategic initiatives and in the completion of a number of important corporate finance and asset-related transactions. Having been Instrumental in Banpu transformation, Mr. Sinon is regarded as a new-generation executive equipped with leadership skills, decisiveness and the growth mindset who focuses on long-term goals. He is also technologically adept, a crucial factor in such a radically evolving business sector. Mr. Sinon graduated in Business & Marketing and Global Management Finance from the United Kingdom.
