Banpu NEXT and HAUPCAR continue ‘BanpuNext EV Car Sharing for Caring’ project

Providing EV Cars for Phyathai-Paolo hospitals to use for medical service at home during COVID-19

Banpu NEXT Company Limited, led by Mrs. Somruedee Chaimongkol, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Banpu NEXT, together with Mr. Krit Vichaiwatanapanich, CEO and Co-founder, Haupcar Company Limited, and Mr. Takenori Harada, Managing Director of FOMM (Asia) Company Limited, jointly presented FOMM electric cars to Phyathai 1, Phyathai 2, Phyathai Nawamin ,and Paolo Paholyothin hospitals as part of ‘Banpu NEXT EV Car Sharing for Caring’ project to use for the medical service at patients’ homes with free of charge for three months. This social responsibility project unites the expertise in clean energy solutions and experiences in electric vehicle business and EV car sharing service of Banpu NEXT together with app-based car rental service of HAUP, which enables the users to book, unlock and drive away the car without physical contact with any people, resulting in a solution for health-safe mobility in compliance with the social distancing policy. This alternative transportation supports medical personnel to treat and take care patients under ‘Clinic Connect’ program of Phyathai-Paolo hospitals. The patients who have the chronic disease or necessarily continuous treatment can receive the health services at their homes conveniently and safely during COVID-19 pandemic. These services include the blood drawing, medicine and other home cares delivery. The fleet was received by Dr.Anantasak Apairatana, Hospital Executive Director of PMC (Phyathai-Paolo Medical Campus), at Phyathai 2 Hospital.
